CHATTER CREEK WINES
Pinot Gris 2007 Columbia Valley
The wine is very floral, showing ripe pear and Fuji apple in the nose.
Although the wine is dry, there are sweet flavors of nectarine, apple, litchi fruit and mixed melons on the palate.
The wine was not put through malolactic fermentation in order to preserve
the lively acidity that supports its long clean finish.

Grenache 2007 Columbia Valley
A very pretty wine in the glass, light ruby in color, very clear and bright.
The nose is full of the aromas of cranberry, fresh bread and strawberry. Racy acid in the forward
palate combines with the flavors of cranberry, raspberry, peach and a bit of hazelnut,
resulting in a well-balanced, classic Grenache.

Syrah Lonesome Spring Ranch 2006 Yakima Valley
The vines are now nine years old, which results in a greater concentration and depth
of flavor than in previous vintages. The wine shows this with its rich purple color and aromas, with
hints of blackberry, sage, plum and pan drippings that waft from the glass. There is also a racy
acidity at the attack that propels the flavors in this richly extracted, well-balanced classic Syrah.
Firm tannins hold the experience in balance without being austere. Finally, the long-balanced finish
hangs on until giving way to a silky hint of toasted nuts.

Syrah Clifton Hill 2006 Columbia Valley
This years vintage is a dark ruby in color, with a purple edge, and it appears viscous
in the glass. The nose is a savory mix of cedar, orange peel, plum and, blackberry. Pinpoint balance is
the theme. From the warm, weighty attack full of blackberry, plum, grilled meats, dark chocolate, and
underlying mineral notes to the high glycerin, almost creamy mid-palate that unfolds into a lingering,
sexy, cocoa and port-like finish.
